Owner/President
Andrea Yeip joined Cabinetry by Better Bilt in 2012 and stepped into ownership in 2018 after proudly purchasing the company from its original founder. Since then, she has guided the business with a strong vision centered on client relationships, operational excellence, and creating an elevated yet approachable design experience. Her leadership has helped transform the company into a respected destination showroom known throughout the Metro Detroit area for its professionalism, creativity, and personalized service.
Rather than focusing solely on aesthetics, Andrea believes successful design begins with trust, communication, and understanding how clients truly live within their homes. She is deeply involved in shaping the overall client experience — from initial conversations to the systems and processes that ensure projects run smoothly behind the scenes. Her ability to blend business strategy with a genuine passion for people has become a defining part of the company’s culture.
Andrea is equally committed to the team she leads, fostering a workplace built on collaboration, accountability, and long-term growth. Outside the showroom, she remains active within the local community through volunteer work and community organizations, believing meaningful relationships are the foundation of both strong businesses and lasting design experiences.

DEVON MOORE
Interior Designer/ Designer Manager
Since joining Cabinetry by Better Bilt in 2016, Devon Moore has become one of the driving forces behind the company’s design leadership and client experience. As Interior Designer and Design Manager, she brings a unique balance of creativity and technical precision with each project she oversees. With a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University and experience spanning both residential and commercial interiors, Devon approaches design with both artistry and practicality in mind.
Her work is defined by thoughtful space planning, refined material selections, and an ability to simplify even the most complex renovation challenges. Clients are often drawn to Devon’s composed and collaborative approach, trusting her guidance through every stage of the design process. Many homeowners return to work with her again and again — expanding projects from kitchens into entire homes over the years — a reflection of the lasting relationships she naturally builds.
Beyond her design expertise, Devon plays an integral role in mentoring the design team and helping maintain the studio’s high standards. Her leadership style is grounded in communication, organization, and a genuine dedication to creating spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
DANIELLE MALECKI
Interior Designer
Danielle Malecki joined Cabinetry by Better Bilt in December 2022, bringing with her an artistic perspective that immediately added a fresh layer of creativity to the studio. A graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, along with minors in Digital Art & Photography and Art History, Danielle approaches interiors with a strong appreciation for composition, balance, and visual storytelling.
Her design style is thoughtful and layered, often combining textures, finishes, and architectural details in ways that feel both elevated and inviting. Danielle has a natural ability to envision how every element within a space will work together, allowing her to create interiors that feel cohesive, functional, and highly personalized. Whether selecting subtle finishes or making bold visual statements, she approaches each project with creativity and intention.
Clients are often drawn to Danielle’s warm personality and collaborative energy. She enjoys building genuine connections throughout the design process, helping homeowners feel comfortable, inspired, and excited as their spaces begin to take shape. Her passion for design and eye for detail continue to make her an important part of the Cabinetry by Better Bilt team.
KAYLA KOHN
Assistant Designer
As one of the newest members of the Cabinetry by Better Bilt team, Kayla Kohn brings a calm presence with a creative curiosity to the studio. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a minor in Event Management, she joined the company in 2025 to continue developing her skills within the fast-paced world of residential design.
Kayla is especially inspired by the evolving nature of the industry and enjoys exploring innovative ideas that blend beauty with everyday practicality. Her approach to design is collaborative and open-minded, allowing her to contribute thoughtfully across a wide variety of projects while continuing to learn from the experienced team around her. She is naturally drawn to emerging trends, new materials, and creative solutions that help spaces feel both current and livable.
With an upbeat personality and strong willingness to grow, Kayla has quickly become a positive addition to the studio environment. Her excitement for design, paired with a genuine interest in helping clients bring their ideas to life, adds a fresh and energetic dynamic to the team.
We recently had our 60+ year old kitchen remodeled. We worked with Andrea Yeip at Cabinetry by Better Built on the design and the cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet and hardware. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The price was very competitive and Andrea was patient, professional and very knowledgeable. She was attentive to the few concerns we had and worked with us to get the kitchen we dreamed of. Everything was delivered as expected and we are thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!

Are you looking for a great place to have your bathroom or kitchen redone? Go to Cabinetry by Better-Built in Mt. Clemens - from planning to installation with high quality products, good prices and excellent work, they are our "go-to" for remodeling. My husband and I worked closely with Andrea in designing our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Andrea was extremely helpful, flexible, full of suggestions and creative ideas. When choosing the color for our cabinets, we couldn’t decide on the exact shade to match our existing floors, so Andrea helped us choose a custom color. You can’t find that at your big box stores. The solid wood cabinetry was custom and is striking to see - cabinets have soft close doors and drawers. We decided on stained walnut accents and custom painted cabinets. The entire process was seamless. We would definitely use Cabinets by Better Bilt in the future!
